About us

Sesam is a product
Sesam is an Integration Platform that uses a unique Datahub approach for collecting, connecting and sharing data. With Sesam, data can quickly be re-purposed, re-structured and used, without changing the systems that own the original data. It all started over 10 years ago as a project for a customer to solve the challenge that the rate of change for data, data sources and recipients of data was increasing exponentially. The project was so successful that the solution was established as a separate product.

Sesam is a startup
This startup is part of the large and acclaimed consultancy company Bouvet. Sesam was established to disrupt the way system architecture and integration were being done today. According to major international analysts, Sesam solves data integration in a way they believe it will be done in the future. This startup paves the way forward, helping visionary customers, while waiting for the general market to mature.

Sesam is a movement
We understand that data is valuable. We believe in the democratization of data to everyone in the business. Access to data provides insight and opportunity. This insight can be used to create better services, for businesses and customers. Data is the core of almost all innovation. Thus, we want data to flow freely, free of systems and system owners, to create a better, faster and cheaper way to digitize the business..

Sesam is mentioned as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s report “Hype Cycle for Platform as a Service, 2017”. Published 19 July 2017.

“By utilizing an iPaaS that leverages a data hub architecture, organizations will be able to better protect themselves from an ever-changing and increasingly fragmenting hybrid application portfolio. The use of an intermediary data store greatly reduces coupling between the endpoints, and allows for greatly improved agility when adding and removing applications to and from the application estate. This also improves visibility and insight into the relationships between the applications, the processes that bind them, and the data that flows between them, thus enabling a consistent view of data across the whole application portfolio to provide benefits for scenarios such as the customer engagement hub.”
